Thanks to BlueStar, I was able to find my buck. The 8 points buck came out in my clearing at around 5:10 pm, 20 minutes before dark. Only giving me a neck shot. It was a hard 120 yards shot. After I pulled the trigger all I seen was smoke through my scope. I didn't know if there was something wrong with the bullet or oil in the barrel of my gun. I run down to where I shot only to find absolutely no sign of a hit. No blood or hair only the ground dug-up where he ran. After searching the area where I had shot there was still no sign and it was to dark to see. I went back to camp thinking I must have missed the buck for sure. I kept playing it over and over in my head hoping I never missed a clue, just then I remembered I had some stuff called BlueStar. Never using it before I was very unsure that it would work. I mixed it up and sprayed it on my son's ATV that he used to carry his deer on about 9 days before and had washed it off. As I began to spray the ATV just started to glow, so we went right down to where I shot and began spraying the area. There was a small amount of glow which gave us a direction and the further we went the better the glow. We found the deer around 70 yards from where I shot. With nothing to go on but BlueStar alone there was absolutly no visable sign with the naked eye. I went out and bought a new package to have on hand but had a hard job finding it in my area the store where I did find it only has it once in awhile. I"ve been telling everyone I know about this product and I would reccomend this to any hunter.

After not seeing anything in the woods with allot of hours in the stand, I finally nailed one during the 4th week of bow season. I decided to go out at the last minute. At about 4:15 this skipper came in eating apples off the tree. I had a clear shot, but knew that a doe was always with it along with another skipper. Then from behind a pine tree the doe stepped out and started over. I was in a pop up blind against some pines but she knew it didn’t belong and something was up. She was only about 40 yards away, but looking at me straight on. She would not come in and just bobbed her head.. The kiss of death. The skipper started getting nervous so I took the shot. Then it was my 1st NY deer all over again.. the rain started coming. The deer ran down hill but doubled back to head to the doe. It was not in view so I would not have known this. I was initially looking for it in the wrong area, but we found the arrow where it broke off and then tracks. Anyway.. the blood light I had did not show anything, but the rain diluted all the blood. So I gathered all my gear and dropped it off at the truck giving it time to get darker.

I was getting worried that I could not find any blood. I had some BlueStar that I bought in the truck. I then mixed the BlueStar and still could not get blood under the tree where I hit him. I tracked the deer by the tracks that were dug in thru to the dirt, but then we lost the tracks. I then found indents in the grass areas and knew the direction it went. I figured it went thru the stone wall in one of two areas. I picked the correct one 1st. I sprayed the BlueStar and the branches and stones had blood drops glowing. Nothing major just spatterings. We were amazed how well this stuff worked after/during the rain.

I kept spraying and had glowing. The amount increased over time. Then huge areas would glow. We would try and see the blood with a light and NOTHING. Some of the spots were so large that glowed with no visible blood when a light was used that I thought something else was triggering the glow. Although I did remember my cousin saying that he had the same thing when he used it to find the deer his dad arrowed. Anyway with such large glowing areas I thought something was off so I told thought that I would have to come back in the morning. I had brought one of the 1M candlepower lights with me so before I left I gave a quick look around and about 10 yards away lay the dead button buck. It was a lung shot and with the rain and aspirated blood no sign could be seen with a regular light or blood light, but huge areas lit up with the BlueStar blood finding agent.

I am not sure if I would have found this deer without the BlueStar, not before coyotes got it anyway. This product is as claims and is excellent. I would recommend it be carried in all hunters daypacks.

This stuff will work just as it says it does. Will it give a "false positive"? Yes it can. BUT you can easily learn how to interpret a false positive from a real one. Take the time to go back to first blood and lay down a spray or two and notice what happens. (caution, you may want to wear sun glasses!) You will notice that there is a VERY bright blue. This is due to the reaction of the luminol with the hemoglobin in the blood. Hemoglobin contains trace ammounts of iron (Fe) and this is what the luminol is actually reacting to. What gives its distinctive blue glow is the amount of iron in the blood. Depending on where you live, certain native vegitation also contain iron and will react to the luminol however with a very faint glow compared to blood. Just remember this phrase "If it's faint, it aint, if its bright the prize is in sight!

This product works as advertised. With it I was able to find small drops of blood that I was unable to see without it.

Just wanted to let you know how awesome I think your product is. I used it to track a deer in early bow season in Kentucky. To be honest I didn't think it would work but I was wrong. I could even see the path my arrow took after it passed through the deer, I was amazed. It worked flawlessly!

I am truly impressed with your product!!! I had an opportunity to use it last night to help a friend trail a deer. It showed us blood we could not see with the naked eye!! I have a home based hunting business, and I am interested in promoting your product and becoming a dealer. Please advise as to how to go about this.

I bought this product last week and tried it out this weekend. We tracked a big buck and this definitely helped. After we lost blood and didn' t know which way the buck turned, I would spray this on the ground and it would show up fluorescent blue as long as their was no lights shining on it. It would pick up little specs of blood I couldn't even see with the naked eye. I put one foil packet for 4 ounces of water and it seemed to work fine. I am excited to use this in the future!!

BlueStar blood revealing spray does exactly that : reveals blood. We tracked a deer for 1/2 mile before kicking it up, of course no blood after that. We went home and got my BlueStar. One spray were we lost blood and the whole ground lit up. We turned our flashlights back on and looked. Oh yeah !! There is a spot of blood there (pin drop size). 50 yards further we found the deer. My buddy I heard this product from said he used it after shooting a deer a month earlier and found that deer.

My only complaint would be the directions say to put water in the sprayer and drop two tablets in. Doesn't say how much. So I filled the sprayer and the blood was not showing up real bright. I could see it good but not neon. Then I read the directions on the tablet package. Says to use 4 oz of water, I had 8 oz. after I switched it to 4 0z it worked great. I gave it four stars instead of five only because of that.

While I was at D'Urville Island I had a chance to try out the BlueStar Blood Tracing 'CSI' magic. I had shot a red stag just on dark and although we found it within sight of where I'd hit it I was able to try out the BlueStar to find traces of blood in the dark. Standing on the track that the deer had travelled on I sprayed an arc in front of me. The long grass lit up a bright fluorescent blue and glowed for a good minute or so.

The impressive thing was that when we went back the next morning we could not see any trace of blood on the long grass. The BlueStar had picked up the smallest traces that were not visible to the naked eye. You simply dissolve two tablets in 125mls of water. Any water will do, from your water bottle, a puddle, or stream. I sprayed quite liberally having a great time lighting up the path fluorescent blue. So I think one dose would get you quite a lot of tracking. I also tried the same mixture 26 hours later the following evening. It didn't glow quite as bright but it was still working. It will also work even after it has rained which is a great feature.

I'm keeping some in my pack ready for the day I need to find an animal I've shot and not been able to track during the day or have run out of daylight to bloodtrail. I think everyone should have this product in their pack at all times. I got in the habit of leaving it in my pack no matter what time of the day I was going out as you never know how long you'll be. A morning hunt can turn into an all day event!
